Grading: The course grades are based on weekly homework (30%), a midterm
exam (30%), and the final exam (40%). The homework has to be prepared with the mathematical typesetting system LaTex. Failure of turning in three or more homework assignments leads to a failing grade in this course.
Midterm exam: We, February 21, 4pm-6pm, Royce 162.
Final exam: We, March 21, MS 5148.
