Looking for direction? As a student working towards an actuarial career, it's easy to feel lost or overwhelmed by the recruiting process, actuarial exams, and courses in and out of university that we go through. The Bruin Actuarial Society is here to offer a little direction with this short "handbook" of useful information regarding the field, the job hunt, and the actuarial student experience at UCLA. Like the actuarial profession, this document undergoes change and is revised as needed to be up-to-date.
