Open Consultation
I regularly set aside time for short conversations with people who would like to discuss questions involving machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science from a mathematical or scientific perspective.
These conversations are open to researchers and prospective collaborators, students, nonprofit and other organizations, journalists, and members of the broader public. They may concern a research question, a technical problem, the interpretation or evaluation of an AI method, possible mathematical approaches to a problem, or a substantive question about machine learning and AI.
Request a conversation
I typically make a small number of short consultation sessions available following the Math Machine Learning Seminar, subject to availability. Because availability is limited, submitting a request does not guarantee a meeting.
If you would like to request a conversation, please briefly describe the question or problem you would like to discuss and what you hope to get from the conversation. Please do not submit confidential or proprietary information.
Media inquiries
I welcome inquiries from journalists and other media concerning machine learning and artificial intelligence, particularly the mathematical foundations of AI, neural networks and deep learning, learning dynamics, AI verification and reliability, and AI for mathematical reasoning and discovery.
