From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

  1. For public transit, take the free airport connector shuttle to the LAX/Metro Transit Center.
  2. Continue on Culver CityBus Line 6 or Rapid 6 toward UCLA. Check the current route and service before departure.
  3. From the UCLA stop, use the campus map to walk to Mathematical Sciences, 520 Portola Plaza.

For a taxi or rideshare, follow the current airport and app pickup instructions. Use the Mathematical Sciences Building at UCLA as your destination.

Arriving by car or local transit

Use the UCLA campus map to choose a visitor parking structure near Mathematical Sciences. Purchase the required visitor permit and check posted restrictions; rates and availability should be checked directly with UCLA Transportation.

For local buses, rail connections, and walking routes from transit stops, consult UCLA’s getting-to-campus guide.

Allow time to travel across campus and locate MS 6627 before the first talk at 09:00.

Lunch is scheduled from 12:00 to 14:00 each day. Campus cafés and food courts offer convenient options; Westwood has additional places for lunch, dinner, or an afternoon break.
