ISBN 0-691-11386-6. We will cover Chapters 1-4, with possible variation due to time constraints.

 Prerequisite: Math 121, 131A, 131B (or equivalent).

 Grading : (Homework 50%, Midterm 20%, Final 30%) or (Homework 20%, midterm 20%, final 60%).
 You must present at least one homework problem at the blackboard in quiz section.

 Midterm : Friday, November 2nd, in class. Click  here  for solutions.
