Tony Chan's current research interests include mathematical image processing, computer vision & computer graphics, computational brain mapping, VLSI physical design optimization, multiscale computational methods, multigrid & domain decomposition algorithms, Iterative methods, Krylov subspace methods, & Parallel algorithms, & computational linear algebra. He has published over 200 refereed papers and is one of the most cited mathematicians according to http://isihighlycited.com/.
