For the book, this means the following sections: 7.3, 7.4.1,
7.4.2, 8.1, 8.2.1, 9.4.
For the homework, it means all problems assigned up to (and including)
Wednesday, February 19th.
The midterm will consist of 4 sets of exercises (a), (b), (c),
etc, for a total number of 90 points.
The first 3 sets of exercises will require detailed work shown,
the last set will consist of multiple choice questions.
Ground rules: Paper will be provided. Bring pencil and eraser. No
calculators. Closed book (no note cards).
Please bring your photo ID to the test.
Test problems will be mostly like the HW problems.
During the Wed. Feb 19th class, I will use first 10 minutes to
cover page 496 of the book (lines in the plane), then the rest
of the time will be a review Session for MT2. The homework
assigned on Wed will be covering problems from all MT2 material.
Also, next week I will have office hours Wednesday 2-4pm and
Thursday 3-4pm.
