For the book, this tentatively means the following sections: 6.1,
6.2, 6.3.1, 6.3.2, 6.3.3, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3.
For the homework, it means all problems assigned up to (and including)
Monday Jan. 27th.
The midterm will consist of 4 sets of exercises a), b), c), etc,
for a total number of 90 points.
The first 3 sets of exercises will require detailed work shown,
the last set will consist of multiple choice questions.
Ground rules: Paper will be provided. Bring pencil and eraser. No
calculators. Closed book (no note cards).
Please bring your photo ID to the test. Please mark your
discussion section on the exam (a, b, c, ...)
The test problems will be mostly like the homework.
We will have a review session on Wed January 29th, 5-5:50pm, in
PAB 1425.
