Final Exam

Mathematics 3B, Section 1

The final exam for this class is on Thursday March 20th, 8-11am  (exam code 01). ATTENTION: the Final Exam will take place in two adjacent rooms:
DODD 147 and DODD 121. Please bring your photo ID to the Final.

The exam will cover everything we have done this quarter: in class, in the homework, and in the book. This means the following sections from the book:
6.1, 6.2, 6.3.1, 6.3.2, 6.3.3, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4.1, 7.4.2, 8.1, 8.2.1, 9.4, 10.1, 10.2.1, 10.2.3, 10.3, 10.4.1, 10.5.3, 10.6.1, 10.6.2
(only the parts that we have covered in class!)

For the homework, it means all problems assigned up to (and including) March 14th.

The Final Exam will consist of 8 sets of exercises a), b), c), etc. Each set of exercises is worth between 20-25 points (for a total number of 180 points).
The first 7 sets of exercises will require detailed work shown, the last two sets will consist of multiple choice questions. I remind you that the
Final Exam counts for 180pts of your final score of 400pts (the other 220pts come from the 90 pts for each Midterm and 40 pts for the HW).

Ground rules for Final Exam: Paper will be provided. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO REMOVE ANY PIECE OF PAPER
FROM YOUR EXAM !!!  No calculators. Closed book (no note cards). Please bring your photo ID to the test, as we will check each student's ID!
