Title: Projective modules and Iwasawa theory

Abstract: This talk concerns an infinite family of invariants that one can associate with an elliptic curve. These invariants are defined in terms of certain naturally occurring objects in Iwasawa theory. Those objects are modules over group rings. The theme of the talk is that these modules sometimes turn out to be projective and that one can derive many nontrivial relationships between the invariants as a consequence.
