Week 3 and Week 4 will cover user input and control flow.
Week 3 will be primarily user input and week 4 will be primarily control flow.
Ask your instructor what order they plan to teach these topics.
At this point the students should be able to independently code.
You might have them do a few warmup exercises at the beginning.
(Prepare some code for them to start with.)

##################################### Discussion 1
REVIEW: user input (complete rules)
Predict the output exercises 1-5

"Add some lines of code such as conditional print statements to debug. "
Use something like cin.peek(), getline(cin, left_in_the_buffer), or a statement like

    if (cin.fail()){
        cout << "AH" << endl;
    }

to see what's happen. Show the students how to explore how the code is processed.

##################################### Discussion 2
REVIEW: if-else statements
Predict the output exercises 6&7
Practice coding exercise 8. First review if-else statement in part (b).
Have them test out that example.
Error spotting exercises 9-12.
