Classical mechanics: Although many mathematical tools originated in the study of classical mechanics, their connection to the physical examples are often forgotten. The objective of these notes is to present the theory of classical mechanics, develop the concomitant mathematical concepts, and to see the physical systems as mathematical examples. This is an ongoing side project for personal instruction, and any comments are welcomed.
Undergraduate physics thesis: This is a senior thesis on quantum field theory in curved spacetime, submitted as part of the honors undergraduate physics degree at the University of Michigan under the guidance of Professor Leopoldo Pando Zayas. This summary paper describes the Unruh effect and Hawking radiation in both Minkowski and anti-de Sitter space, and discusses the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence.
