Bio

I am a graduate student in the Ph.D. program at UCLA. I received my B.S. in mathematics and physics in 2018 at the University of Michigan.

Teaching

Winter 2020: TA for Math 146 (Methods of Applied Math) section 1.
Office hours: Wednesdays 12:30--1:30 pm and Thursdays 12:00--1:00 pm in MS 3915C.

Notes

Classical mechanics: Many concepts and techniques in the field of differential equations were introduced in the study of mechanics, and so the goal of these notes is to highlight the mathematical framework and to see mechanics as an example of the concepts it founded. This is an ongoing side project, and any comments are welcomed.

Undergraduate physics thesis: Senior thesis on quantum field theory in curved spacetime, submitted as part of the honors undergraduate physics degree at the University of Michigan, under the guidance of Professor Leopoldo Pando Zayas. It describes the Unruh effect and Hawking radiation in both Minkowski and anti-de Sitter space, and discusses the anti-de Sitter/conformal field theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence.
