Material: We shall cover most of Chapters 9, 13, 6, 7, 12 (in this order).

Exam schedule:

Midterm:  Friday, February 13, in class

Final Exam: Wednesday, March 18, 11:30 am -- 2:30 pm in class

Grading Policy:

Homework - 30% 

Midterm  - 30%

Final Exam - 40%.

Homework:

There will be eight homework assignments, due in lectures on Fridays. Homework must be stapled and clearly labelled with your name and ID. Late homework will not be accepted. Graded homework will be returned to you in the discussion section. The first homework will be assigned on Friday, January 9.
