A two-day gathering at UCLA bringing together researchers, postdocs, and students for talks and open-problem discussions on the shape of data — persistence, geometry, and topological methods in the mathematical sciences.
Supported by the UCLA Mathematics Research Training Group, this workshop convenes current and former RTG members alongside invited researchers. Days pair short talks with dedicated sessions for surfacing open problems and starting new collaborations. The atmosphere is deliberately informal — as much about conversation as presentation.

Attendance is by invitation. Invited participants should coordinate travel and lodging needs directly with the organizer. Some funding is available.
UCLA is about 30–45 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), depending on traffic.
