Midterm #2 Announcement

As previously announced, the midterm will be on

Friday, March 5 at noon in MS 5200.

Coverage

• Lectures from Monday, Feb. 1 through Monday, March 1.
• Material presented in discussion section
• Homework #4,5,6
• The emphasis will be on CGI. Be solid on the various examples you have seen and written and understand the Perl features they involve. For HTML, know whatever has been covered in homework and in lectures.
• You will be responsible for knowing these tags and their attributes well, to the extent they are covered in Handout M: <FORM> and <INPUT> for text, checkbox, radio, and submit. (For this exam <TEXTAREA> and <SELECT> will be omitted.) Know how to make defaults with VALUE or CHECKED.
• For Server-side features and flock, use the handouts as a guide.

Conditions

• Closed book.
• Exam paper to write on will be supplied.

Review

will be in lecture, Wednesday, March 3.

Homework

As announced, Assignment #6 has been postponed to Monday evening because of network problems. There will be no additional assignment due during the coming week.
