| To Pass or Not to Pass 495 |
You will receive an S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory), depending on
- attendance and participation in
- the campuswide teaching assistant conference on 25th of September, 2006
- the one and a half day so called intensive training on 26th of September, 2006 and 30th of September, 2006
- the weekly meetings on Thursdays, 12:00pm-1pm throughout the Fall quarter
- attendance of two mandatory Thursday sessions:
If you miss one or both of the above meetings, you need to be make them up by either attending one of the campuswide offered sessions. In the case of the Sexual Harrassment workshop requirement, you may also make it up by taking the web-based workshop.
- Academic Integrity on 28th of September, 2006
- Sexual Harassment on 26th of December, 2006
- occasional homework assignments (called 'Projects' on MyUCLA).
Homework will be announced or handed out either in the weekly meetings or an email is sent out accordingly, referring you to details on the on the web.
An S is assigned if your percentage score in the class is at least 80%. The weighting of the above items and your scores can be found on MyUCLA.
