Recall that no late homework will be accepted. You should read the relevant sections before the lecture whenever possible, and begin working on the homework immediately after the lecture. Some homework assignments will be more demanding than others, but I expect on average that each will take about 2 hours to complete. Remember that in almost every case the number of hours spent working on homework is directly correlated with your grade on exams. Homework must be turned in in a readable way. It is very apreciated, if you mark your answer in some way, i.e. underline, box or highlight it.Boldface printed problems are due in class in the following way:
Assigned on Due on M, T W W, R F F M except for week I and VI, where F assigned homework is due on W of week II and VII respectively.
If you do not make it to class, you have a chance to drop the homework by my office (MS 6931) until 11:20 the day it is due.
Answers to the even numbered problems that have to be turned in can be obtained here.
Solutions to the even numbered problems that have to be turned in can be downloaded in ps (resp. pdf) format by clicking on 'ps' (resp. pdf) next to the roman numeral of the week interested in. Note that Answers will be available any time, solutions only after the week's problems are due.
