- June 13th Final grades have been submitted to the registrar and are available on the gradebook. I keep the finals for one quarter. If you want to look at your final, please come to one of my office hours during the summer or next school year, which will be announced on my webpage following any of the links to the classes I am teaching.

- May 10th Please note the changes in the homework schedule for assignments HW7 and HW8 on the assignments page, that are marked red. The only changes are, that all of 7.6's problems are due on 5/16/2001 and all of 8.1's problems are due on 5/25/2001, both at earlier dates than previously posted.
- May 7th Note that I added a problem to homework assignment 6: problem 12 from section 7.5.
- May 3rd Due to an error one of the TAs made in discussion section, HW5 can be turned in on Monday, May 7th in class. No assignment is accepted after 12:55PM.

In this class ROUGHLY the top 25% of students get an A, the next 35% a B, the next 30% a C, the next 5% a D and the remaining 5% an F. This does not include the +- scale yet, which exists.
You can look up your grades on your MyUCLA page. There should be a link called 'class grades'. Once you see your score, you can click on that, to see the statistics for it as well as your placement in the class. For example:
