Winter 01 – Math 32B/1
HOMEWORK

Recall that no late homework will be accepted under any circumstances. The two lowest homework scores are dropped. You should read the relevant sections before lecture whenever possible, and begin working on the homework immediately after lecture. Remember that in almost every case the number of hours spent working on homework is directly correlated with your grade on exams. Homework must be turned in in a readable way. It is very appreciated, if you mark your answer in some way, i.e. underline, box or highlight it.

You need to put the following information on top of each homework page:

Beginning week I boldfaced and starred problems only are due before class starts each Friday, with exceptions for week III resp. VII, where it will be due on Wednesday of week III resp. VII.

If you know you won't make it to class in time on a Friday (or Wednesday of week III or VII), you have a chance to drop the homework by my office (MS 6931) any time before it is due. If I am not in my office, please slide the assignment under the door. Please do not leave any assignments in my mailbox, as those are not safe.

Please watch out for possible changes in the homework assignment during the quarter on the web.
