This year UCLA is hosting the second annual Undergraduate Research Week May 11-15, 2015. Science Poster Day will occur on May 12th from 12-5pm in Ackerman Grand Ballroom as a part of this celebratory week. We are creating a new media outreach for Undergraduate Research Week and as part of this media we would like to showcase all the events offered on campus that support and celebrate undergraduate research. UCLA Amgen Scholars Program – DEADLINE FEBRUARY 2, 2015
The Amgen Scholars Program provides summer research experiences at 10 institutions across the country for students interested in pursuing Ph.D.’s and, eventually, a career in science. Students interested in summer research in any area of biomedical science, chemistry, bioengineering or chemical engineering are encouraged to apply.

Want to have an adventure this summer in Beijing, while getting valuable research experience? This ten-week program is designed for UCLA students to participate in advanced research in science or engineering while gaining valuable international experience during the summer period. Each student works in a research lab full-time with Peking University (PKU) faculty and graduate student mentors. Students also take Chinese classes and go sightseeing in and around Beijing.
