The Physics clubs (SPS, UAS, and WPS) are hosting a Graduate Student Panel today, Wednesday the 15th from 6-7:30 PM in PAB 1-434A. Free food will be provided! Undergrads will have the opportunity to ask our very own UCLA grad students from Physics, Astronomy, EPSS, and Chemistry about tips on how to apply to grad school, what grad school life is like, and more. We hope to see you all there!

Undergraduate Research Fellows Program (URFP)

Students pursuing research during the winter and spring quarters may be eligible for the Undergraduate Research Fellows Program (URFP). Participants receive a $2,000 scholarship, conduct research under the guidance of a faculty mentor, and participate in HC101A: Student Research Forum. The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program has an immediate opening for a ToxCast Biologist/Toxicologist Research Support position with the Office of Research and Development at the EPAʼs Research Triangle facility in Raleigh-Durham, NC. The selected candidate shall provide literature and database searching, data management, data curation and support to the ToxCast project. This is a combination of file management, data extraction and curation and limited database management.
