Women in Public Finance

Women in Public Finance  (“WPF”) is a non-profit organization that seeks to advance women's leadership opportunities in public finance. Our organization would like to discuss potential opportunities for you in this sector. WPF members include investment bankers, government officials, financial advisors, attorneys, and more. They are eager to offer professional advice or mentorship to young women beginning their careers.


Financial Actuarial Mathematics Update: New Courses and 18-19 Schedule

Dear Students, 

By now, you should be able to see when your Fall enrollment time begins in MyUCLA. The schedule of classes goes live on Monday, June 4th and priority pass will begin on Monday, June 18th. As a quick reminder, all upper division courses are restricted to math majors and minors only during the first pass. All remaining seats will be open to all majors once second pass begins and certain courses will be closed again during summer orientation (more information will be sent out later).

Discover UChicago: Expenses-Paid Visit Program Application Now Open

The University of Chicago is now accepting applications for our Discover UChicago program, an expenses-paid visit weekend to be held October 18th-20th, 2018 for candidates traditionally underrepresented in their fields. This program is intended for individuals planning to apply to graduate school in the fall of 2018 with the intention of matriculating in the fall of 2019.
