UCLA Volunteer Center

Saturday, January 14, 2017

The UCLA Volunteer Center coordinates service activities on-campus and throughout greater Los Angeles to inspire members of the extended UCLA family to give of their time and talent. Through the Center, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members can participate in ongoing and annual service opportunities, suggest volunteer site locations, and lead service projects. The Center also maintains an online listing of campus-wide service groups, and a volunteer database of community service opportunities.
We have a great service opportunity available now. Read more and apply by the deadline listed below.
Do you have a passion for languages? Are you interested in volunteering on campus but don’t know how to get started? Join Project SPELL! Project SPELL, or Students for Progress in Employee Language Learning, is a Volunteer Center program that matches a UCLA student with an employee on campus who is looking to improve his or her English and computer literacy skills through 1-1 tutoring. Tutor applications are due Friday of Week 1 (January 13) for winter quarter tutoring. Apply at http://volunteer.ucla.edu/project-spell/.
