We at the UCLA Luskin Department of Public Policy pride ourselves in our ability to assemble a strong and diverse cohort of students each year, students who go on to become skilled policy-makers in a variety of fields. Our students effect real change in the world, and we hope that you will consider joining us in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) Program.

Our application deadline for fall 2017 is January 10th, 2017.

We have several events coming up this week, including the final information session of the academic year. This information session is a great place to ask questions and to learn more about our program from admissions staff and current students. This session will be held on campus in the Public Affairs Building, room 2343. Dinner will be provided. Please join us:

Tuesday, November 15 – 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Additionally, we will be hosting a Statement of Purpose Workshop on Thursday, November 17thfrom 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. This is a great way to learn valuable Statement of Purpose writing tips as you get ready to begin the application process.

Sign up here to let us know that you wish to attend.

Finally, we at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs are excited to announce that registration for the Luskin Diversity Recruitment Fair on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 is now live!  As our students become leaders that shape the direction of our society, we at UCLA Luskin are committed to fostering diverse perspectives and ensuring that everyone who wants to pursue graduate education has the resources to do so. At this fair, prospective students will spend the day

  •   Hearing from a diverse range of speakers from across the School of Public Affairs about the intersections of policy and social justice
  •   Learning about the admissions process and financial aid opportunities
  •   Interacting with current students, faculty, and alumni
  •   Touring campus through the lens of its long history of activism and social justice
  •   Attending workshops to strengthen the statement of purpose (bring a draft!) and receiving  individual feedback on application materials

The event is free with registration and includes breakfast and lunch for the day. To learn more and to register, go to the event page.

Thank you again for your interest in our program. I look forward to meeting with all of you.
