Research Study about Social Communication in Adults with Autism
 
The UCLA Center for Autism Research and Treatment (CART) is conducting a research study to examine social communication in high-functioning adults with autism.
 
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are an adult, 18 to 35 years of age, and have been diagnosed, or think you qualify for a diagnosis, on the autism spectrum (autism spectrum disorder, autism, Asperger's, or PDD-NOS).
 
The purpose of this study is to better understand how individuals with autism communicate socially. Participants will receive an investigational medication. Study participation involves up to 9 study visits to UCLA, EEGs, questionnaires, interviews, and blood draws.
