The UCLA Pritzker Center supports foster and volunteer families across the Los Angeles area. Foster children are three times more likely to drop out of high school, and ten times less likely to graduate from a four year college. With so many children out of school, there is an urgent need for tutors to help or prevent foster children from falling behind. Are you patient, enthusiastic about math, and looking for a volunteer opportunity that you can do virtually? Please consider signing up to be a volunteer tutor at this link:
Tutors are needed in all subjects but there is a particular need for tutors able to help students in high school math.
