Calling all students interested in STEM education! This spring quarter only, there is a new UCLA course titled "Physics 88S--Lifelong Kindergarten: Reimagining STEM Higher Education," developed and facilitated by Mathematics of Computation undergraduate student Alejandra Cervantes and Dr. Shanna Shaked. In this 1-unit, Pass/No-Pass seminar, students will analyze teaching methods and their efficacy in achieving student learning outcomes and retention in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) higher education, as well as get the opportunity to design a "reimagined" UCLA STEM lesson and present it to their professors and peers.
