The Campus Relations Team at Transamerica launched the Summer Speaker Series in May as a result of COVID-19 and the cancellation of internships due to the pandemic. Each week we have been engaging with various business leaders on topics such as future industry landscapes, career pathing, personal finance, current research, and skill development. The session continues next week with our actuary and risk team for a two part event, and we wanted to share the description to pass to your students and/or peers. The purpose of this program is to provide career insight, exploration, and networking for any and all students who may be interested in learning more about the topic at hand. Part II will continue the discussion with a focus on skills and the SOA’s exams. Flier attached for full reference.
To register for the series, please visit Eventbrite. Make sure to register for both days as they will cover related but different material and build off one another. And Remember, space is limited!
