Graduate Hooding Ceremony
Thursday, June 11, 2020 - 3:00pm - 5:00pm at Royce Hall
Graduate arrival and pre-ceremony reception will begin at 1:30
In order to participate, the student must file the doctoral dissertation by June 1, 2020. Students who complete the filing process are mailed an invitation and the information needed to participate in the ceremony.
Graduates are responsible for purchasing the cap and gown through Graduate Etc. Graduate division provides hoods.
Light refreshments are provided for graduates and faculty before the ceremony and for everyone following the ceremony.

Mathematics Graduation Celebration
Sunday, June 14, 2020 - 9:00-11:00 am
Location: Court of Sciences
The Mathematics Department Commencement Ceremony is an opportunity for graduating Ph.D. candidates to be recognized for their achievements in finishing their degree. This day is a wonderful celebratory experience where students are honored before their families and close acquaintances, Faculty and the Math Department staff for many years' hard work. During this ceremony, the Graduate Vice Chair announces each student's name and their thesis advisor as they walk across the stage. This ceremony is special in the personal nature of the student's achievement; it is a day not to be missed!
If you plan to participate in this celebration, please let Brenda know no later than May 29, 2020 for a seat reservation. This is very important so that we have sufficient seats for graduate students.
Cap and gown are required. For purchase go to Graduation Etcetera
For the Math Department commencement ceremony, you may order up to 4 free tickets and you are charged $20 for each additional ticket, non-refundable. Your tickets will be available for pick-up starting May 28, 2020 at the Central Ticket Office. Photo ID is required for pick-up.
