I was born in Bern,
Switzerland, in 1983. I received the M.Sc. degree
in electrical and electronics engineering and the
Ph.D. degree from the École Polytechnique Fédérale
de Lausanne (EPFL)
, Lausanne, Switzerland, in
2006 and 2011, respectively.
I am currently a Post-Doctoral Scholar with the Department of
Mathematics
, University of California, Los Angeles
, with Luminita Vese
, Stan Osher
and Andrea Bertozzi
. My current research interests include partial differential equations
and variational models for inverse problems in image processing and computer
vision, and efficient algorithms to solve them.
