I am a fifth year Ph.D. student in Mathematics Department at UCLA. I am working with Prof. Achi Brandt, Prof. Joseph Teran and Dr. Eftychios Sifakis on multigrid methods for physics based animation. Before that, I completed a M.S. in Computer Science at University of British Columbia and B.S. in Scientific and Engineering Computation at Peking University from China.
My research interest is on fast methods for PDE, physics-based simulation and scientific computing.
This is my previous website at University of British Columbia at Vancouver.

MusicBeads
- a music visualization tool using Matlab GUI
- aiming at a faithful representation of music and a visual imitating of music hearing experience. Hopefully, it can be helpful for deaf
dancers who have been experiencing music by viberation.

I am a graduate student of applied and computational mathematics.
Computational mathematics means we do computation, careful budgeting for every penny
of memory and every second for the computer. If it goes crazy, we have to dig out bugs and ants.
Well, there are times of getting bored by it and leave it alone, ... which happens a lot. In
applicational aspect, I am doing physics-basid animation. |
