I am interested in variational problems and partial differential equations with modeling. The study of the existence, uniqueness and characterization of minimizers is an important part of the research work; this helps in better understanding of the problem and of the computational mathematics part, which will numerically confirm theoretical explanations. Image analysis (denoisng, deblurring, segmentation, etc.), recovery from undersampled data, modeling texture/oscillations are main ongoing projects. Harmonic analysis is also being studied for better understanding of oscillations present in images and other physical phenomena. Geometric and stochastic methods are also being studied.
