My name is Xavier BRESSON.

I received a Ph.D. in Image Processing in 2005 at EPFL in Switzerland.

I am now a Postdoctoral Scholar in U.S. at UCLA with Prof. Tony F. Chan.

My research activities are focused on mathematics applied to image processing and computer vision. I investigate approaches based on variational and partial differential equation-based models as well as differential geometry and information theory to develop new techniques in image analysis with a particular interest in medical image analysis.
