A few words about me...
My name is Vjekoslav, but I go with Vjeko, which is pronounced similarly to 'v-echo'.
Currently I am a Ph.D student in math at UCLA, living in LA, but I am originally from Croatia.
Point the mouse cursor on the image to the left.
I am teaching most of the quarters, see my Teaching page.
Regardless of if you are my student, feel free to come to my office hours or send me an email.
Actually, email is the best way to contact me anytime.
I spend some time preparing students for math competitions and proposing problems for various contests,
so write to me if you share an interest in problem solving.
My research field is harmonic analysis, more specifically time-frequency analysis,
but I am also somewhat interested in arithmetic combinatorics, ergodic theory and nonlinear PDEs.
For more info go to my Research page by clicking the twindragon fractal pic on the menu above.
I have broad interests besides math, such as music and anything related to it, pop art, web design,
independent film, short fiction, and outdoor activities, particularly those related to the beach.
Check out my Hobbies page.
If you know me in person, try to find me on Facebook.
