Tingwei Meng

I am Tingwei Meng, currently a Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor in the math department at UCLA. I am interested in applying convex optimization techniques to different research areas. In my Ph.D. program, I designed different efficient solvers for high-dimensional Hamilton-Jacobi partial differential equations by studying the connections with neural networks, control engineering, and image sciences. These efficient solvers may open new doors and serve as building blocks for efficient algorithms to solve high-dimensional practical problems in real-time.
