We consider the Hamiltonian describing relativistic electrons and positrons in a Coulomb potential interacting with photons on the Fock space space of electrons, positrons and photons. We prove in essence that this Hamiltonian is self-adjoint and has a ground state when the coupling constant is sufficiently small.
