No makeups are allowed for the midterm and for the final examinations. Bring a photo ID card to the midterm and to the final. No calculators, books, or notes will be permitted on the midterm or the final. |

Homework: |
Homework
will be collected at the beginning of class Mondays, August 10 and 17 and
Wednesdays, August26, September 2 and September 9. Label each homework clearly with your name,
student ID#, class (Math 33B) and your discussion section (1a or1b).
Enumerate your problems and box or circle your answers. Late homework will not be accepted. The lowest homework grade will be dropped. Homework turned in later than 11:05 am on Monday will be subject to a three point late penalty. |
MIDTERM

Your first midterms
are available for inspection at my office. Any appeals to your score will
have to be submitted in writing (with detailed explanation of what you are
contesting) by August 26. After August 26, no appeals will be accepted for
any reason. The midterms will be returned to you during discussion sessions
of the following week. |
