As is becoming of a graduate student, I have spent the past few years trying to solve open problems. Most of the time, I just end up reproving the witty ditty coined by the great Paul Erdös: "A problem worthy of attack, proves its worth by fighting back." Occasionally, though, the forces of good triumph over evil, and our efforts are rewarded. While one could follow the tradition of Archimedes and run down the streets naked yelling, "Eureka!", I have instead chosen to list my successes here. My neighbours will no doubt be immensely grateful.
