Midterms: Two midterms will be given on Monday, August 15 and Monday, August 29. Make sure ahead of time you have no schedule conflicts as there will be absolutely no make-up midterms under any circumstances. Final Exam: The final exam will be given on Wednesday, September 7 (Failure to take the final exam during this time will result in an automatic F!!). Grading: Your final grade in the class will be the maximum of the following two grading schemes:

you believe a problem on a homework, or an exam has been graded
incorrectly, or that your score was not correctly recorded, you must
bring this to the attention of the instructor within

assignment in question or the date of the exam in question, and before
the

of the final exam.
Grading

not initiated within this period of time will not be considered. Scores
on homework assignments and exams will appear on MyUCLA before these
items are returned to you, and it is your
responsibility
to verify in a timely manner that the scores
appearing on MyUCLA are accurate.
