Homework, Quizzes

Homework is assigned for each lecture. The particular assignments for the quarter are attached. Homework is not collected. Instead, a 10 minute, one question quiz is given in the last 10 minutes of each discussion section. The questions for the quiz are selected by the instructors, and are taken from the homework assignments from the previous week; they will vary from section to section, and, overall, will count for 12% of your grade.

The quizzes for this quarter will begin the week of October 9-13. No quiz will be given during the week of Thanksgiving. Thus, there will be a total of eight quizzes.
