Some more information on me

I finished my Ph.D. at Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) Munich, Germany, in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. H.-O. Georgii. In the summer of 2007 I joined the probability group at UCLA. My research interest is probability theory with a focus on stochastic models with spatial structure, as used in statistical mechanics for example. So far I have been working mainly on general criteria for the conservation of continuous symmetries in two-dimensional point particle models.
