Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 2-3.

Welcome to Math 266B! This is the first graduate level course on partial differential equations and their applications. Our textbook is Partial Differential Equations, by Robert McOwen. Watch this page for more information.

  • Tentative course outline.

Grades will be based on the homework, the hour exam(assuming that we have one), and the final exam (which will be a regular three hour written exam). The relative weights on those will probably be 45%, 10% and 45%.

Homework assignments in this course will be given out on Mondays (and posted here). They will usually be due ten days after they are assigned (Wednesday of the following week).
