Directions

Regular Circle meetings take place in rooms MS6201 (group A) , MS6221 (group B), and MS 3915A (Junior Circle) Mathematical Sciences Building, UCLA campus. On occasion, we also use MS6627. The first meeting of the year took place in 3400 Boelter Hall

Directions to the Mathematics Sciences Building and Boelter Hall

(Any of these steps direct you to the same entrance to the Mathematical Sciences Building. See below for directions inside the building).

Public transportation

Several bus companies (including the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus and the Culver City bus) serve the UCLA campus. On Sundays, busses stop at the Ackerman Union bus terminal. It can be found on the left side of the map below. From the bus terminal, walk up a stairway between the Ackerman Union and an Engineering building. You will see the Math Sciences building to your right. Keep walking until you see an archway with some vending machines. Enter the archway and go through glass doors to your right.

Driving

The closest parking lot is P2 (enter campus on Hilgard/Westholme). Parking permits can be purchased for $8 from the parking kiosk as you enter the campus. Pay-by-hour parking machines are also available in lot P6 (enter campus on Gayley or Westwood). Please refer to the full campus map (see also a portion of that map below).

From P2, walk north towards the Inverted Fountain then west towards Math. Sciences building, which will be to your left. Keep walking until you see an archway with some vending machines. Enter the archway, go through glass doors to your right.

From P6, cross Westwood Blvd walking towards the Ackerman Union bus terminal. From the bus terminal, walk up a stairway between the Ackerman Union and an Engineering building. You will see the Math Sciences building to your right. Keep walking until you see a archway with some vending machines. Enter the archway, go through glass doors to your right.

Directions to MS6621, MS6201 and MS6627 inside the Mathematical Sciences Building

As described above, you should have entered the Mathematical sciences building through glass doors in an archway with vending machines. Immediately as you enter, you will see an elevator on your left. Take it up one floor to the 6th floor. Exit the elevator and turn left. MS6221 (group B): Make a left at the next corridor. MS6221 is to your right. MS6201 (group A): As you exit the elevator, the room is the first room you see on the left (don't go to any of the corridors, it's almost across from the elevator. MS6627: Turn left as you exit the elevator and keep walking until the corridor forks. Take the left fork, then turn left. MS6627 is to your right half-way down the corridor.

Directions to 3400 Boleter Hall

As described above, you should have entered the Mathematical sciences building through glass doors in an archway with vending machines. Shortly after the entrance, you will see a corridor to your left. Take it and keep walking until you see the sign "Boelter Hall" (it's at the end of the corridor). Keep walking, passing another corridor branching out to your right. Immediately afterwards, there will be an elevator to your right. Take it down to the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator and turn left. Walk half-way through the building to Boelter Hall 3400.
