Math 61, Lecture 2, Spring 2009: Final Info:

The final exam will take place 8:00-11:00 am on Thursday, June 11 in Boelter 5249Note this location is not our regular class meeting room or the room we used for the midterms.

There will be approximately 10 problems on the final and it will be roughly twice the length of a midterm.  No calculators, cell phones, books, or notes will be allowed.   You will only need a pencil and your student ID card to take the final.  There will be no make-up finals.

ALL material from the class is covered, with a slight emphasis on the material on trees and analysis of algorithms (expect 3-5 problems on these topics).  The problems will be similar in style to the problems given on the previous midterms and quizzes.  You may be asked to provide a proof, define a term, calculate an answer, determine truth of a statement, and/or provide an explanation.

For practice: do the old practice midterms, the old midterms, homework problems, and quizzes.
