For the book, this tentatively means the following sections: 7.3,
7.4.1, 7.4.2, 8.1, 8.2.1, 9.4.
For the homework, it means all problems assigned
up to (and including) Monday November 4th.
The midterm will consist of 4 sets of exercises (a), (b), (c),
etc.
Each set of exercises is worth 25 points
(for a total number of 100
points).
The first 3 sets of exercises will require detailed work shown,
the
last set will consist of multiple choice questions.
Ground rules: Paper will be provided. Bring pencil and eraser.
No calculators.
Closed book (no note cards).
