Title: Sums of Dilates

Abstract: The lambda-dilate of a set A is lambda*A={lambda*a:a in A}. A sumset of sets A and B is A+B={a+b: a in A, b in B}. I will show how to obtain sharp lower bounds on the size of sums of dilates, such as 2*A-7*A+12*A for integer sets A. I will also discuss Plunnecke-type upper bounds for such sumsets.
