Policies

Homework
An undergraduate reader is responsible for grading your homework, not me!  If you believe that you received an unfair grade on an assignment, please see me after class or in office hours, or send me an e-mail.  Since homework collection is automated, I cannot grant extensions.  Instead, I will generously help you if you are in a bind.  Contact the professor if you have an emergency and cannot turn in an assignment by 5:00pm, Friday.

E-mail
Feel free to e-mail me with any questions or suggestions you may have.  If you expect a response and I haven't given you one, you should send me a reminder e-mail.  I try to respond to all e-mails within 24 hours.

Advice
Remember that you are human, and that the process of overcoming conceptual barriers can be quite tedious.  Give yourself plenty of time with the material, but learn to stop before frustration metastasizes into genuine stress.  If you have serious trouble, you should speak with the professor or with another adviser, someone who can help you reconcile your performance with your long-range academic plans.
