Description:
In this weekly seminar, graduate students read and present papers from current literature in applied mathematics.
Topics are (but not limited to): variational models, energy minimization, non-linear partial differential equations,
inverse problems, numerical approximations, with applications to image analysis, including medical imaging, free
boundary problems, non-linear elliptic problems.

Meeting time and location: Thursday 1-2pm, IPAM 1180

Graduate Students Participants:
- Enrolled students: Linh Lieu, Triet Le, Jeremy Brandman, Eric Chung, Igor Yanovskiy, Ilhwan Jo.
- Other participants: Lin He, Jinjun Xu, Jason Chung, Nicolay Tanushev, Julia Dobrosotskaya, Ilhwan Jo, Ernie Esser, and Zhenkuan Pan (visiting scholar).

Credit: Students presenting in this seminar will receive credit.
