Lara Kassab

I am currently a postdoc at the University of California, Los Angeles in the Department of Mathematics working with Deanna Needell. I obtained my Ph.D. in mathematics from Colorado State University in 2021.

My research interests are in mathematical data science. Currently, my two primary areas of research are (i) bias and fairness in machine learning, and (ii) numerical methods for higher-order tensors and their applications.
